I wrote a song in the early part of yesterday and I was stoked that it turned out the way it did but guess what, I forgot to record it. Not to worry, all is not lost. See, my theory is if the song is truly good it will stick in my head or if it wanders off for a bit, it will come back to me in no time even if I don't record it. But if it doesn't come back, I won't try too hard to get it back because obviously it's not that memorable anyway. In the past, I would try to recall it but I've learnt to let things go and by doing so, making room for new and better things to come along.
So, it turns out, I did forget the main chorus of the song by the end of the day but it was okay because when I sat down to work on it some more, something even better came out of it. This time, I recorded it.
