I said this on twitter and facebook and I have to say this again. One won't realise how difficult playing Beatles songs is until they try playing it note for note in the exact tempo.
Never ever underestimate The Beatles. They are pure genius. Everything from the early days pop stuff till the later days were crafted with sheer brilliance. They made the pop songs sound so simple but in actual fact, to get them right the way they do requires finesse! That's just arrangement. We haven't even dissected the vocal harmonies and arrangements yet. They are just simply brilliant.
The only way to do a Beatles cover for me is to do it Broken Scar's way and I think we're gonna have some fun with that on Tuesday when we play the charity show at Miss Libertine.
