Great Ocean Road Tour

Started out from the city. Doesn't that bridge look a little like the Penang Bridge?

The most colorful and decorated rest room ever.

The murals are painted by the aborigines.

Click on this picture to enlarge. According to the guide, this surfing beach beats Surfer's Paradise anytime. This is Bells Beach, home to the Rip Curl World Surfing Competition held annually, bringing in top surfers from all over the world.

Look at the view...This was along The Great Ocean Road.

The House, described by Cameron, our guide. Most of the houses around the area are new but the town wasn't a new town. Most of the old houses were burnt down during the bush fire some time ago and now the newer buildings are coming up again.

Taking a ten minute break

Yea, that's right. It's a real Koala. Cuddly?

Up close and personal. They sleep twenty hours a day. If only we could bring one home.

Info...

The most upfront heap of rocks are from the recent crumbling of one of the twelve apostles. According to the news, there are supposed to be only eight left but that's not true according to Cameron, our guide. He said that there are still thirteen apostles standing. They always had backup.

Imagine Treasure Island?

London Bridge

Light after the rain...

Another stop we made was at Loch Ard Gorge. It was pouring cats and dogs. We braved the rain to check it out but we took no pictures.

It soon got dark. We drove pass Port Cambell and headed for dinner.

After dinner at KFC, it was about a two hour drive back to the city. What more is there to do since it was dark already outside? Sleep, of course!
