Broken Scar's First Overseas Gig. Photos taken at The Arthouse, 616 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne.
Firstly, I would like to take this opportunity to specially thank my friends that made it to the show, my bros Benny and Chino, Kylie and Leonard, Olivia and best of all, my incredible source of inspiration, B. It was really very nice of you to drop by. Without you, it wouldn't have been as fulfilling.
I'd also like to thank Jez (emcee) and The Arthouse for this excellent opportunity.
It was cold at The Arthouse. I was scheduled to play second last but due to a little confusion, I was on stage earlier than I expected.
So with a borrowed acoustic guitar, two layers of t-shirts and a sweater, I climbed up the stage shivering in the cold.
I played three songs. I opened with "Scratch", followed by "Hey You" and closed with an up-beat "Down", which is a new song that I've played live only once or twice before this.
With no soundcheck and no time to set up effects, the sound was still great.
All in all, it was a great experience.
